Reports today have Natalie Portman producing and starring in the stoner road trip comedy Best Buds.
The story follows two best female friends who take a road trip to their friend’s wedding in order to save her by bringing her weed. Jamie Denbo wrote the script. The search is currently underway for a director.
Portman stars later this year with James Franco and Danny McBride in Your Highness. She recently completed work on Black Swan with Mila Kunis for director Darren Aronofsky and is currently filming the comic book movie Thor starring Chris Hemsworth in the title role.
